- Pelgrimstocht Petra Verhees naar Santiago de Compostela
- Maandag 1 april is Petra Verhees begonnen aan een voettocht vanuit Helden-Panningen naar Santiago de Compostela in Spanje. Inmiddels is ze alweer een tijdje thuis. Ze is vier maanden onderweg geweest.

- Tijdens deze kloosterwandeltochten lopen we in een meditatieve sfeer van klooster naar klooster en wordt overnacht in de kloosters. Om de dag wandelen we en blijven we een dag in het klooster. Tijdens het verblijf in het klooster kan worden deelgenomen aan de diensten. Bagage wordt vervoerd.

- The Via Francigena is a historical itinerary leading to Rome from Canterbury, a major route which in the past was used by thousands of pilgrims on their way to Rome. At the beginning of the 11th century mainly, a multitude of souls "looking for their Lost Heavenly Home" took the habit of travelling across Europe. This route bears witness to the importance of the practice of pilgrimage in medieval times;

- Ultreïa - Willkommen auf dem
- Jakobus der Ältere (spanisch: Santiago), ein Jünger Jesu und späterer Apostel, kam als Missionar angeblich bis nach Spanien. Nach seiner Rückkehr wurde er 44 n.Chr. in Jerusalem enthauptet.
Sein Leichnam - so berichtet die Legende - gelangte um 614 nach Spanien, wo seine Grabstätte in Vergessenheit geriet. Im 9. Jh. wurde sie wiederentdeckt. Als Nationalheiliger und als Schutzherr der Pilger erhielt er in der Folge grosse Verehrung.
